HR Advisor - TUPE Specialist

Temporary contract for 6 months

Full time, hybrid working available

Based in London

Salary: up to £24.50 per hour (PAYE)

Are you an experienced HR professional with hands-on TUPE and employee relations experience, looking for an opportunity where you can play a key role in supporting organisational change?

We are partnering with a purpose-led organisation to recruit an HR Advisor who will provide specialist advice and operational support across a range of TUPE transfers. Working closely with managers, internal stakeholders, legal advisers and transferring organisations, you'll help ensure transfers are well managed, compliant and provide a positive experience for employees.

The role

You'll support TUPE activity from initial planning and due diligence through to consultation, transfer and post-transfer integration. This will include:

• Supporting the planning and delivery of TUPE transfers in and out of the organisation
• Coordinating due diligence and reviewing Employee Liability Information (ELI)
• Supporting formal consultation with employees, trade unions and employee representatives
• Advising managers and responding to employee queries throughout the transfer process
• Reviewing workforce data, contracts, policies and employment practices to identify potential risks and liabilities
• Preparing consultation documents, communications, letters and reports
• Supporting employee relations matters connected to TUPE and organisational change
• Maintaining project plans, timelines and risk logs
• Ensuring employee information and HR/payroll records are accurately transferred and maintained
• Supporting the onboarding and integration of transferring employees into the organisation

What we're looking for

We're keen to speak with HR professionals who can demonstrate:

• Strong practical knowledge of TUPE legislation with experience implementing TUPE transfers preferably within public sector or a highly regulated environment
• Experience supporting consultation processes, ideally involving trade unions or employee representatives
• Good knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice
• Experience managing employee relations casework, particularly relating to TUPE or organisational change
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Confidence working with HR systems and employee data
• Excellent organisation skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
• A professional and sensitive approach when dealing with confidential employee matters
