A Hotels Group is looking for an HR Manager to join their UK team. They are an international hospitality group operating a diverse portfolio of hotels and hospitality properties across the UK, Europe, the Caribbean, Africa and Asia. The group focuses on guest experience, operational excellence and people development.
Job Role – HR Manager / Regional HR
The HR Manager will oversee and support HR operations across the group’ UK hotel portfolio, with a primary focus on Scotland. The role will work closely with General Managers, Heads of Departments and senior leadership to ensure effective people management, employee engagement, compliance and consistent HR practices across the properties
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage end-to-end HR operations across multiple hotel properties.
- Partner with General Managers and HODs on employee and workforce matters.
- Manage recruitment, workforce planning, talent acquisition and succession planning.
- Handle employee relations, grievances, disciplinary matters and workplace issues.
- Support performance management, appraisals and employee development.
- Drive employee engagement, retention and people-development initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with UK employment legislation and company HR policies.
- Support HR audits, investigations and compliance reviews.
- Monitor HR metrics including headcount, turnover, absenteeism and recruitment.
- Prepare HR reports and provide workforce insights to senior management.
- Work with management and Finance teams on payroll and workforce-cost management.
- Support organisational changes, restructuring and operational transitions.
- Travel between hotels across Scotland and England as required.
The successful candidate will have:
- 5–8+ years of progressive HR experience, preferably within the hospitality/hotel industry.
- Previous experience in Regional HR, Cluster HR or multi-property HR is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of UK employment legislation and HR practices.
- Strong recruitment, workforce planning and performance-management experience.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple locations.
- Hospitality experience, particularly within hotel groups or seasonal operations, CIPD Qualified.
Qualification required:
- CIPD qualification or a Degree in HR qualification.
Job Types:
Full-time - Permanent.
Pay Rate:
Pay: £35,000 to £36,000 per annum.
Hours: full-time, 08:30 AM 05:30 PM, 45 Minutes Lunch Break.
Break: as per the employment contract.
