Manage employee relations cases, including disciplinaries, grievances, absence, performance and complex people issues.
-
Support TUPE, restructures, redundancies and organisational change, ensuring fair and consistent processes in line with employment legislation and company policies.

Work with operational and H&S teams to support compliance with food safety, animal welfare, health and safety and ethical audit requirements.
-
Support site audits, accurate employee records, right-to-work checks and policy adherence.
-
Promote employee engagement, wellbeing, retention and company values, including colleague forums.
-
Identify training and capability gaps and support managers with team development.
-
Use HR data to identify trends, inform decisions and recommend improvements.
-
Contribute to HR projects, policy development and sharing best practice across sites.
About You
-
Previous experience as an HR Business Partner or Senior HR Advisor.
-
Strong knowledge of UK employment law and employee relations.
-
Experience supporting multi-site workforces.
-
Confident building relationships, influencing and challenging managers.
-
Practical, solutions-focused and commercially aware, with strong communication and organisational skills.
-
Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel regularly across the North.
Desirable:
-
Experience with TUPE, organisational change and restructures.
-
CIPD Level 5 qualification or working towards it.
Personal Attributes
You will be approachable, hands-on and credible with operational teams, comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where priorities can change. You will also be resilient, calm under pressure and demonstrate integrity, fairness and professionalism.
