HR Coordinator - Transport & Logistics Industry

Our client, a leading organisation in the transport and logistics sector, is seeking a dedicated HR Coordinator to support their HR Manager in delivering efficient and effective administrative services. This permanent position, based in Barking, offers an exciting opportunity for individuals passionate about human resources and organisational support to advance their careers in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain and update HRIS platforms to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
Assist with data entry related to employee records, recruitment processes, and HR reporting.
Support the recruitment process by coordinating interviews, managing applicant tracking systems, and liaising with candidates.
Facilitate communication between HR and other departments through email correspondence and internal communications channels.
Organise on boarding programmes and assist with employee orientation activities.
Manage administrative tasks, including scheduling meetings, maintaining documentation, and supporting HR projects.
Assist the HR Manager with preparing international visa applications and collation of monthly payroll.
Carry out weekly performance reports for management evaluation.
Undertake any adhoc duties as required by the HR Manager.

Requirements:

A minimum of 2 years' professional experience in an admin or HR-based role.
Strong administrative skills complemented by excellent organisational abilities.
Proficiency in data entry with keen attention to detail.
Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, to liaise effectively across teams.
Knowledge of human resources practises and procedures.
Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
Previous experience with HR systems such as Sage and Who's Off is advantageous but not essential for entry-level candidates eager to learn.
