We're looking for an experienced HR Officer to become a key member of our team, providing a professional and proactive HR service across the business. This is a varied, hands-on role offering the opportunity to make a genuine impact across employee relations, recruitment, training and HR compliance.

Working closely with senior management, you'll help drive best practice, ensure compliance with UK employment legislation and support the continued development of our people.

The Role

As HR Officer, you'll take ownership of a broad range of HR activities, including:

  • Providing day-to-day HR advice and guidance to managers and employees.
  • Managing employee relations matters including absence management, disciplinary and grievance processes.
  • Coordinating end-to-end recruitment, onboarding and induction activities.
  • Maintaining and developing HR policies, procedures and employee records.
  • Monitoring HR KPIs and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Coordinating training, competency records and the annual Performance & Development Review process.
  • Supporting Health & Safety initiatives, statutory training and employee wellbeing programmes.
  • Helping organise company events, employee recognition schemes and wider people initiatives.

About You

We're looking for someone who is organised, approachable and confident working across all aspects of HR.

You'll ideally have:

  • Level 3 CIPD qualification (or working towards).
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience within a HR Officer, HR Advisor or generalist HR position.
  • Strong understanding of UK employment law and HR best practice.
  • Experience supporting employee relations, recruitment and performance management.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong communication skills with the confidence to build relationships across all levels of the business.
  • High levels of professionalism, discretion and confidentiality.
  • Good Microsoft Office skills and experience using HR systems.
