About the Role
TeacherActive is pleased to collaborate with a large, diverse secondary school in the heart of RCT to appoint a committed Humanities Teacher. This welcoming school maintains excellent standards for teaching and learning and is devoted to creating an inclusive, supportive environment where every student is encouraged to achieve their full potential.

The successful candidate will join the school on a long-term basis from June, teaching Humanities across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, with opportunities to support GCSE and A-Level students. This role demands strong subject expertise, exceptional classroom management, and the ability to engage learners of varying abilities effectively.

Key Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a specialism in Humanities
• Experience teaching Humanities up to Key Stage 4; Key Stage 5 experience is desirable
• Excellent classroom management skills
• A passion for delivering engaging and inspiring Humanities lessons
• Ability to build positive relationships with students and colleagues
• A proactive and adaptable approach to teaching and ongoing professional development
