About the Company
A growing and established HVAC services business is expanding its service and maintenance offering and is looking to appoint an experienced Service & Maintenance Contracts Manager.
The business has experienced significant growth and is investing in its people, systems and service offering. This is an excellent opportunity for a Service & Maintenance Contracts Manager to take a key role in developing existing contracts, strengthening client relationships and helping grow the service and maintenance division.
The Role
As Service & Maintenance Contracts Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing existing HVAC service and maintenance contracts while also identifying opportunities to develop new business and increase recurring revenue.
You will work closely with clients, engineers, subcontractors and internal teams to ensure contracts are delivered efficiently, commercially and to a consistently high standard.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage existing HVAC service and maintenance contracts from initial agreement through to completion.
- Review, negotiate and finalise contracts with clients, suppliers and subcontractors.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships.
- Act as the main point of contact for clients across service and maintenance contracts.
- Monitor contract performance, ensuring works are completed on time, within budget and to the required quality standards.
- Work closely with engineers and subcontractors to ensure effective service delivery.
- Identify contractual, operational and commercial risks and implement appropriate solutions.
- Ensure contracts comply with relevant legislation, regulations and company policies.
- Manage contract budgets, monitor expenditure and maintain profitability.
- Track KPIs and regularly review the performance of contracts and service delivery.
- Identify opportunities to improve contract margins and overall service performance.
- Develop existing client accounts and identify opportunities for additional works and services.
- Support business development activities and help increase the company's recurring service and maintenance revenue.
- Identify and implement improvements to contract management processes and service delivery.
About You
The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a Contracts Manager, Service & Maintenance Contracts Manager, Account Management or similar position within the HVAC, building services or engineering sector.
You will be commercially minded, highly organised and confident dealing with clients, engineers, subcontractors and senior stakeholders. Strong communication and relationship-building skills are essential, alongside the ability to manage multiple contracts and priorities effectively.
Experience within HVAC service and maintenance is highly desirable, particularly where you have a strong understanding of contract management, client relationships and commercial performance.
