ICT Teacher

Location: Rhondda Cynon Taf
Start Date: September 2026 Start

Contract: Full-Time Contract (Monday-Friday, 8:30am-3:00pm). Fixed-Term Contract (1 Year, could become permanent for the right ICT Teacher.)
Pay: £172 - £220 per day (depending on experience)

We are currently recruiting for a skilled and enthusiastic ICT Teacher to join a secondary school in Rhondda Cynon Taf from September 2026.

This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated educator to secure a full-time role within a supportive school environment. The position is offered on a one-year fixed-term contract, with the potential to become permanent for the right ICT Teacher.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective ICT lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, helping students develop essential digital skills and a strong understanding of technology.

You will join a committed team of staff and play a key role in supporting students to achieve their full potential.

• Deliver engaging ICT lessons across KS3 and KS4
• Plan, prepare and assess student work in line with curriculum requirements
• Monitor and support student progress to ensure positive outcomes
• Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
• Manage classroom behaviour effectively in line with school policies
• Contribute to the wider life of the school and department
• Inspire students to develop confidence and skills in ICT and digital technologies

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - essential
• Experience teaching ICT across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Passion for teaching and supporting student achievement
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one
• Ability to provide two professional references covering the last two years

• Competitive daily pay: £172 - £220 per day (depending on experience)
