Pay rate: Up to £575 PAYE per day / £781 Umbrella

Location: London Office

Hours of work: 3 days on site, 2 days from home (Subject to change at client's request)

The IFRS Reporting Lead is responsible for delivering high-quality IFRS financial reporting, ensuring accurate, compliant, and timely consolidated reporting. Working closely with the Senior Financial Reporting Manager, the role combines strong technical accounting expertise with operational leadership to establish robust reporting processes, apply professional judgement, and support effective financial governance. The position partners with finance and cross-functional teams to enhance financial control, improve decision-making, and support the successful delivery of the project.

Applicants should be able to demonstrate of the following skills/experience:

  • ACCA qualified accountant with 4-5 years' PQE.
  • Strong experience in IFRS reporting, month-end, consolidation, and external audit.
  • Advanced Excel skills; SAP S/4HANA and Anaplan experience desirable.
  • Strong commercial awareness with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to manage deadlines, prioritise effectively, and deliver in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong knowledge of financial controls, governance, and reporting processes.

Role information:

  • Lead the month-end close process, ensuring accurate and IFRS-compliant financial reporting.
  • Support external audits by coordinating stakeholders and managing the IFRS reporting process.
  • Develop and implement accounting policies and strengthen financial controls.
  • Provide financial analysis and insights to support business decision-making.
  • Drive best practice financial reporting and support business-wide change initiatives.
  • Manage and develop a small team while partnering with cross-functional stakeholders.
