INBOUND SALES MANAGER

Salary: £Negotiable + Monthly Bonus

Location: Skelmersdale

Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm

Office Based – No Remote Working

This is NOT a retail management role.

We are looking for an experienced Inbound Sales Manager who is currently working within a telephone-based sales or contact centre environment.

If your experience is primarily in retail management, field sales, business development or face-to-face sales, this role is unlikely to be suitable.

This is a hands-on management position where you'll lead by example, coach your team and continue to handle inbound enquiries yourself.

The Role

Working alongside the Operations Director, you'll be responsible for leading a small inbound sales team, improving conversion rates and ensuring every customer receives an exceptional experience.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing and motivating a small inbound sales team.
  • Coaching advisers to improve sales performance.
  • Monitoring KPIs and conversion rates.
  • Handling inbound sales enquiries.
  • Converting warm enquiries into successful sales.
  • Leading by example through your own sales performance.
  • Identifying training and development opportunities.
  • Creating a positive, high-performing team culture.
  • Maintaining outstanding customer service standards.

Essential Requirements

To be considered you must have:

  • Current experience working within a telephone-based inbound sales or contact centre environment.
  • Experience managing, supervising or coaching a sales team.
  • A proven track record of converting inbound enquiries into sales.
  • Experience working to KPIs and conversion targets.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Full right to work in the UK.
