The Opportunity

We are looking for a proactive and customer-focused Internal Sales Support professional to join our friendly Sales team based in Harrogate.

This is a varied role supporting both our Residential and Commercial Sales divisions, managing inbound enquiries from initial contact through qualification, customer engagement, proposal coordination and ongoing sales support. You'll play a key role in ensuring every opportunity is progressed efficiently while delivering an exceptional customer experience.

Working closely with our field sales consultants, surveyors and wider commercial team, you'll help drive sales growth by ensuring enquiries are professionally managed, proposals are followed up and customers remain engaged throughout their buying journey.

This role includes uncapped commission amongst other benefits.

What You'll Be Doing

As part of our Internal Sales team, you will:

  • Manage inbound enquiries across both Residential and Commercial Sales, taking ownership of each opportunity from initial enquiry through qualification, customer contact, information gathering and scheduling activities.
  • Qualify enquiries to ensure opportunities are appropriate before progressing them through the sales process.
  • Build strong relationships with prospective customers, understanding their requirements and explaining how Ventrolla's products and services can meet their needs.
  • Coordinate appointments and activities for our field sales consultants, ensuring a seamless customer journey.
  • Manage proposal submissions and customer follow-ups across both Residential and Commercial Sales, ensuring opportunities continue to progress.
  • Proactively manage your sales pipeline, maintaining regular customer contact and identifying opportunities to progress enquiries.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues across Sales, Operations and Customer Service to deliver an outstanding customer experience.
  • Maintain accurate customer records, sales activity and reporting within our CRM system.
  • Ensure all administration is completed accurately and efficiently in line with company processes.

What We're Looking For

  • You'll be successful in this role if you:
  • Have previous experience in an internal sales, sales support, customer service or contact centre environment.
  • Are an excellent communicator with the ability to build rapport and develop strong customer relationships.
  • Enjoy speaking with customers and understanding their individual requirements.
  • Are organised, proactive and able to manage multiple enquiries simultaneously.
  • Have strong attention to detail and excellent administrative skills.
  • Are confident using CRM systems and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced environment where customer service and commercial awareness are equally important.
  • Enjoy working collaboratively as part of a supportive team.

This is a full-time, office-based role located at our Head Office in Harrogate, working Monday to Friday.
