I am recruiting alongside a growing and well-regarded secondary school in the Weston-super-Mare area for a dedicated and resilient Inclusion Supervisor to lead their Behaviour/Reset Room provision.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about supporting young people with behaviour, SEMH and additional needs, and helping them successfully re-engage with learning.

As an Inclusion Supervisor, you will play a key role in managing the school’s Behaviour/Reset Room, ensuring students are supported both pastorally and academically.
You will:
- Lead the daily running of the behaviour/reflection room, maintaining a calm and structured environment
- Support students to reflect on behaviour incidents and make positive choices
- Help students regulate emotions and prepare to return to lessons successfully
- Deliver 1:1 and small group support to improve behaviour and engagement
- Support students with SEMH, SEND and behaviour-related needs
- Ensure learning continues through structured academic support
- Maintain accurate records, including attendance, incidents and progress
- Work closely with pastoral, SEND and teaching staff
- Behaviour Mentors, Youth Workers or Pastoral Support staff
- Individuals with experience in secondary schools or alternative provision
- Candidates with a background in SEMH, SEND or behaviour support
- Sports coaches or mentors with strong behaviour management experience
- Anyone passionate about helping young people overcome barriers to learning
- Caring, empathetic and committed to student success
- Calm, resilient and able to work effectively under pressure
- Skilled in behaviour management and restorative approaches
- A strong communicator, able to build relationships with students and staff
- Organised, professional and able to maintain confidentiality
- Passionate about inclusion, safeguarding and student wellbeing
- GCSE English & Maths (or equivalent)
- Experience working with young people (ideally secondary age)
- Proven experience managing or supporting challenging behaviour
- Experience supporting students with SEND or SEMH needs
- Understanding of barriers to learning and inclusive practice
- Strong IT skills and confidence recording student data
- Enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply)
- Make a genuine impact on students’ behaviour and wellbeing
- Work in a supportive and community-focused school
- Develop experience in pastoral, SEMH and inclusion support
- Be part of a school committed to improvement and staff development
