As an Income Officer in the property department, you'll play a vital role in helping the not-for-profit organisation manage and maximise its income. Description

• Monitor and manage rent accounts to ensure timely payments and minimise arrears.
• Contact tenants to discuss rent issues and provide advice on payment plans where necessary.
• Work collaboratively with other teams to support tenants in maintaining their tenancies.
• Prepare reports on income collection for internal review.
• Handle tenant queries and provide clear, empathetic communication.
• Identify and escalate cases requiring further action or support.
• Ensure compliance with relevant policies and procedures.
• Assist with income-related projects as required by the property department.

Profile

A successful Income Officer should have:

• Experience in income management or a related area, ideally within the not-for-profit or property sectors.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• A confident and empathetic approach to dealing with tenants.
• Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Knowledge of housing and tenancy management policies would be beneficial.

Job Offer
