Independent Chair

About us

Surrey Wellbeing Partnership is a formal joint venture of local and national charities working together to improve wellbeing and mental health for children and young people across Surrey.

We provide early intervention, prevention, and strengths‑based support and we are proud to be a part of a wide alliance delivering mental health support with the NHS under an alliance called Mindworks.

The role for an Independent Chair comes about following the retirement of our current chair and at an exciting time as we move into a significant contract extension and having rolled out a digital recording system.  We are also about to publish thrilling results of an independent evaluation of services, showing the huge impact we are having on the lives of our service users.

About you

You will be a board-level leader seeking an opportunity to inspire and help take our partnership forward, continuing to make a real difference to young people and families.

Ideally, you will have experience of delivering mental health support and will have a strong background in good governance and collaborative, strategic working.

This key, vital role will involve working alongside a chief executive and leading our board of trustees, independent advisors and members.

You will have a commitment to equality and diversity and a passion for improving lives.
