The Opportunity

Are you someone who enjoys practical, hands-on work and takes pride in doing a job properly? Our client is looking for two Industrial Cleaners to join their established workshop team. This is a varied role cleaning specialist industrial filtration equipment used within the waste management sector. Full training will be provided, making this an excellent opportunity for candidates from industrial cleaning, manufacturing, warehouse or production backgrounds looking for a long-term career.

Key Responsibilities

·         Clean specialist industrial filtration equipment to a high standard.

·         Operate industrial cleaning equipment safely and effectively.

·         Inspect equipment and report any defects.

·         Maintain excellent housekeeping standards.

·         Travel between the Kempston workshop and the company's Bedford airfield.

·         Occasional visits to customer sites, including overnight stays where required.

·         Work closely with colleagues to achieve daily production targets.

About You

You'll be reliable, practical and happy carrying out physically demanding work. Experience in industrial cleaning or jet washing is advantageous, but we would also welcome applications from dependable warehouse, manufacturing or production operatives with a strong employment history.

·         Full UK driving licence and own transport.

·         Strong work ethic and attention to detail.

·         Comfortable working with equipment used in waste management.

·         Enjoys working as part of a close-knit team.

Working Hours

40-hour week
07:00–15:00 or 07:30–15:30
Overtime available.
