Our client, a respected and growing specialist within the manufacturing sector, are looking to recruit an Industrial Door Installation & Service Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis. Covering sites across Gloucestershire and Worcestershire, this opportunity has arisen due to continued expansion and a strong pipeline of work.
The successful Industrial Door Installation & Service Engineer should have:
- Hands-on experience installing Rapid Roll doors.
- Good electrical installation, fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
- Previous experience servicing, maintaining and repairing industrial door systems.
- The ability to work independently whilst delivering a high standard of workmanship.
- A full UK driving licence.
In this role, the Industrial Door Installation & Service Engineer will be responsible for:
- Carrying out the installation, servicing, maintenance and repair of industrial doors and loading bay equipment.
- Commissioning new door systems and identifying electrical and mechanical faults.
- Completing planned preventative maintenance (PPM) visits and responding to breakdowns when required.
- Producing accurate service reports, site surveys and maintenance documentation.
- Delivering a professional service to customers while identifying opportunities for additional repairs or upgrades.
Our client is offering the successful Industrial Door Installation & Service Engineer a salary of £35,500 - £37,500 per annum, depending on experience, based on a 40-hour working week. In addition, you'll receive a company vehicle, company tools, ongoing training and development, holiday entitlement, and enhanced overtime rates, providing excellent earning potential.
