The Role

Our client is looking for an experienced Industrial Sewing Machinist to join their friendly and established team. The successful candidate will be responsible for manufacturing high-quality covers and awnings for both domestic and commercial customers.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced machinist looking for a flexible role with a supportive employer.

Key Responsibilities

• Sewing a range of covers and awnings for domestic and commercial applications.
• Operating industrial sewing machines safely and efficiently.
• Producing high-quality work with excellent attention to detail.
• Working from specifications to ensure products meet customer requirements.
• Maintaining a clean and organised work area.
• Working independently and as part of a small team.

Essential Requirements

• Previous experience as an Industrial Sewing Machinist is essential.
• Experience sewing heavy-duty materials such as canvas, PVC, vinyl, awnings, covers or similar products.
• High attention to detail and pride in producing quality workmanship.
• Reliable, self-motivated and able to work independently.

Hours & Salary

• Full-time or part-time applicants will be considered.
• Flexible working hours available.
• Competitive salary, negotiable depending on experience.
