Working Hours:

  • Monday–Thursday: 7:55am–4:30pm
  • Friday: 7:55am–4:00pm
    Hours: 40 hours per week
    Pay: £12.71 per hour 

The Role

We are looking for a reliable and hands-on Injection Moulding & Pad Printing Operator to join our team.

Injection moulding experience is the primary requirement for this role. Experience with pad printing would be advantageous, but full training can be provided to the right candidate.

The successful applicant will be responsible for operating injection moulding machinery, ensuring products are manufactured to the required quality standards, and supporting the production process. There will also be an opportunity to learn and develop skills in pad printing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate and monitor injection moulding machinery safely and efficiently.
  • Set up and run moulding processes in accordance with production requirements.
  • Carry out quality checks on finished components.
  • Identify and report any defects or issues with products or machinery.
  • Trim, inspect and pack moulded components as required.
  • Maintain a clean, tidy and safe working environment.
  • Complete basic production records and paperwork.
  • Carry out pad printing of components following training.
  • Follow all company health & safety, quality and production procedures.
  • Work as part of a small, busy production team to meet daily targets.

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Previous experience in injection moulding is essential/preferred.
  • Good understanding of injection moulding processes and production environments.
  • Good attention to detail and a strong focus on quality.
  • Reliable, punctual and willing to work as part of a team.
  • Good practical and manual skills.
  • Able to follow instructions and production procedures.
  • Good approach to health & safety.

Desirable

  • Previous pad printing experience.
  • Experience working with plastics or within a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience with machine setting or basic fault finding.

Pad printing experience is not essential, as training will be provided.
