Installation Fitter at Spraybooth Technology Ltd, Sudbury

We are seeking a motivated Spraybooth Installation Fitter to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for the installation, assembly, and setup of spraybooths and related equipment at customer sites. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the success of our projects.

This is a permanent position. Installing our bespoke Spraybooths into commercial and industrial premises, Full training will be given to the successful applicant. Please be aware that this role will involve some heavy lifting so you will need to be physically fit.

Working Mon – Fri - 40 hours per week with a guaranteed 10 hours overtime per week paid at time plus half.

You will be required to work away from home approx. 40 weeks per year Mon – Fri throughout the UK with occasional overseas work. Whilst away, all accommodation will be booked /paid in advance and expenses are given.

A full clean driving license is essential as you will be given access to a company vehicle and tools to facilitate this role.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and install spray booths and associated components according to technical specifications and safety guidelines.
• Use hand tools and power tools to carry out precise fitting, fastening, and adjustments during installations.
• Collaborate with project managers and other team members to ensure timely completion of projects.
• Maintain accurate documentation of installation procedures, parts used, and completion reports.
• Ensure all safety protocols are followed throughout the installation process to protect yourself and colleagues.
• This role will involve some heavy lifting so you will need to be physically fit.

Requirements

• Previous experience working within a construction related industry is disirable.
• Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings would be an advantage.
• Excellent teamwork skills with a proactive attitude toward problem-solving. As this is a customer facing role you should also have excellent communication skills, with the ability to work under pressure.
