Elevation Recruitment Group have an urgent requirement for an Interim HR Manager  supporting a Sheffield based Manufacturing  organisation looking for an immediately available and experienced HR Manager to join their HR team for a 3-month period covering a period of increased workload.

This is a broad, hands-on HR role with responsibility across employee relations, HR operations, reward, HR data and management coaching.

Salary: Up to £55,000
Location: Sheffield - Hybrid (3-4 days in the office)
Contract: 3-month fixed-term contract

About the Role

As the Interim HR Manager you will deliver a high-quality, compliant and efficient HR service, working closely with site leadership and the Head of HR.

You will provide expert guidance across the employee lifecycle, lead complex employee relations activity, oversee core HR processes and support managers to build their people management capability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead complex employee relations casework, providing expert advice and guidance to managers.
  • Ensure consistent and compliant HR processes, policies and employment practices including recruitment, onboarding, performance management and starters/leavers.
  • Produce and analyse HR data and KPIs to support effective decision-making.
  • Coach managers on people management and employee relations.
  • Drive continuous improvement and digital efficiency across HR processes and systems.
  • Support employee engagement and the delivery of UK Inclusion & Diversity initiatives.
  • Build strong relationships with site leadership, the Head of HR and wider stakeholders.

About You

  • Strong UK employee relations experience, including complex case management.
  • Experience gained ideally within manufacturing, engineering, construction sectors
  • CIPD qualified or equivalent HR experience.
  • Excellent knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice.
  • Experience within a complex, matrixed organisation; manufacturing or engineering experience would be advantageous.
  • Strong HR data, reporting and attention to detail.
  • Confident stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • A proactive, process-driven approach with a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Comfortable challenging constructively and working autonomously.
