Interim Management Accountant in Tiverton, Devon

Interim Management Accountant | Tiverton | Up to £30.14 per Hour

An established South West business is seeking an experienced Interim Management Accountant to support a busy finance function on an initial 6-month assignment, with an immediate start available.Working as part of a supportive finance team, you will play a key role in delivering accurate financial reporting, providing commercial insight and supporting operational decision-making across the business.

Key Responsibilities

• Producing monthly management accounts and reporting packs
• Variance analysis and performance reporting
• Preparing profit & loss, balance sheet and cashflow reporting
• Supporting budgeting, forecasting and financial planning
• Monitoring costs, KPIs, inventory and profitability
• Business partnering with operational and departmental managers
• Supporting year-end processes and audit requirements
• Maintaining strong financial controls
• Identifying and implementing reporting improvements
• Working with Sage 50 and other finance systems

About YouWe're keen to speak with candidates who can demonstrate:

• Strong management accounting and month-end experience
• Experience within manufacturing, engineering or operational environments
• The ability to analyse financial performance and provide commercial insight
• Confidence partnering with non-finance stakeholders
• Experience with inventory, costing, margins and profitability analysis
• Strong Excel and finance system skills
• A practical, hands-on and collaborative approach
• The ability to add value quickly in an established team

Assignment Details

• Initial 6-month contract
• Tiverton location
• 37.5 hours per week
• 5 days per week onsite
• Up to £30.14 per hour
• Interim assignment
