An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced BMS Sales Administrator to join a leading Building Management Systems specialist, supporting the Midlands and South West regions.

This role is ideal for someone with a strong technical background in the BMS industry who enjoys working closely with customers, producing accurate quotations and estimates, carrying out site surveys, and supporting the sales process from enquiry through to project award.



The Role

As part of a successful regional sales team, you will be responsible for preparing quotations for BMS upgrades, remedial works and service opportunities, supporting tender submissions, carrying out site surveys, providing technical advice to customers, and helping to grow existing client relationships.

You will work closely with Account Managers, Service Engineers and customers to ensure opportunities are delivered efficiently while maintaining exceptional customer service throughout.



Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare accurate quotations for BMS service, upgrade and remedial works.
  • Produce Time & Material (T&M) quotations from engineer reports.
  • Carry out BMS and energy-related site surveys.
  • Provide technical support to customers and internal teams.
  • Review drawings, schematics and specifications to produce detailed estimates.
  • Support tender bid/no-bid decisions and proposal preparation.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers.
  • Follow up outstanding quotations and maximise order conversion.


What We're Looking For

  • Previous experience within the Building Management Systems (BMS) industry is essential.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in a technical sales, estimating or engineering position.
  • Strong knowledge of BMS systems, HVAC controls and system integration.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings, panel layouts and specifications.
  • Experience preparing detailed quotations and cost estimates.
  • Excellent communication and customer relationship skills.
  • Self-motivated with strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
