We’re partnering with a well-established, family-run distributor of mechanical, electrical, and HVAC equipment to recruit an internal sales / customer service representative for their growing UK team.
With over 40 years in the industry and an annual turnover of £8M–£10M, this business is renowned for its exceptional customer service, product expertise, and strong supplier relationships. They serve mechanical and electrical contractors and HVAC professionals nationwide, offering a flexible, responsive service within a supportive, family-style culture.
The Role
- Customer inquiries and order processing
- Sales support / business development with existing clients
- Product knowledge would be preferred but isn't essential
- Co-ordinate with internal teams and suppliers
- Dealing with any customer returns
- Liase with the warehouse team to produce accurate stock levels and timely deliveries
- Maintain accurate information on the CRM system
- Prepare sales reports
- Exceptional customer service with a "go the extra mile attitude"
Package & Benefits
- Salary: £28,000 – £32,000
- Hours: 40 hours per week (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM)
- Pension: 3% employer / 5% employee
- Holidays: 20 days annual leave (rising 1 extra per year worked to 25) + your birthday off + statutory holidays
