Nelson Permanent Placements are working with our client recruiting for an Internal Sales Executive.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established and globally recognised manufacturer of electrical, mechanical and safety infrastructure solutions. Due to continued growth, they are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Internal Sales Executive to support their sales team from their West Bromwich office.

The successful candidate will be responsible for processing customer orders, managing enquiries, providing quotations and building strong customer relationships. This role would suit an organised individual with excellent communication skills who enjoys delivering exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities of an Internal Sales Executive:

• Process customer orders accurately and efficiently using internal systems.
• Progress orders through to dispatch and monitor delivery schedules.
• Respond to customer enquiries relating to stock availability, pricing and product information.
• Provide first-line technical support where possible.
• Produce and issue customer quotations.
• Maintain regular communication with customers, transport providers and external sales teams.
• Conduct outbound sales calls to promote products, re-engage inactive accounts and support sales campaigns.
• Support account administration, including debit and credit queries.
• Organise transport for non-standard deliveries.
• Liaise with internal departments regarding manufacturing, assembly and delivery issues.
• Provide administrative support to the wider sales team as required.
• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and activity.

To be considered for this role as an Internal Sales Executive you will:

• Have previous experience within an Internal Sales, Sales Support, Customer Service or Account Management position.
• Possess strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Have a professional and confident telephone manner.
• Be competent using Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Have experience using CRM systems (Salesforce, InforX or similar would be advantageous).
• Be highly organised with the ability to prioritise workloads effectively.
• Be able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Demonstrate a proactive attitude and willingness to go the extra mile for customers.
• Have strong administration skills and attention to detail.
