About the Business

Our client is a specialist supplier serving customers across the UK, working with wholesalers, student accommodation providers, holiday parks, leisure businesses and other commercial organisations.

After two years of positive change, the business is now entering an exciting new phase of growth. They’re looking to strengthen their sales team with someone who brings energy, enthusiasm and the desire to generate new business. The Role

As an Internal Sales Executive, you’ll be responsible for identifying new opportunities, re-engaging dormant customers and building long-term relationships over the phone.

This is a proactive, office-based sales role where confidence, resilience and enthusiasm are just as important as previous experience.

Responsibilities include:

  • Proactively contacting new and dormant customers to generate sales opportunities
  • Building long-term relationships with business customers
  • Following up enquiries and converting opportunities into orders
  • Managing and developing your own customer pipeline
  • Maintaining regular contact with existing accounts
  • Supporting inbound customer enquiries as required
  • Accurately maintaining customer records and sales activity
  • Working closely with colleagues to maximise commercial opportunities

About You

You’ll enjoy this role if you’re naturally competitive, energetic and motivated by achieving results.

You don’t need management experience or industry knowledge, but you should be someone who enjoys speaking to people, is proactive, self-motivated and determined to succeed.

You’ll ideally have:

  • Experience within sales, business development, customer service or another customer-facing role
  • A confident and professional telephone manner
  • The drive to proactively generate new business
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • A positive attitude and willingness to learn
  • Good organisational skills and attention to detail
