Internal Sales Executive

SWRP are recruiting an Internal Sales Executive to join a growing business in Peterborough, Cambridgeshire. You will be responsible for developing new business, managing a sales pipeline, and building strong customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Proactively seek new business opportunities through a combination of inbound and outbound sales activity
  • Develop and manage relationships with existing, lapsed, and prospective customers
  • Maximise sales opportunities by upselling and expanding customer orders
  • Conduct market research to identify target customers and uncover new opportunities
  • Generate, manage, and follow up on customer quotations
  • Maintain a structured and active sales pipeline to support business growth
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships, providing ongoing account support

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 1–2 years’ sales experience either within an office or retail environment
  • Good understanding of the sales process and customer lifecycle
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Highly organised with the ability to manage a busy workload
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Previous experience within the building, trades, or construction sector is advantageous
