We're looking for an experienced International Logistics / Shipping Coordinator who is proactive, hands-on and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment where they can make a real difference.

This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of international import and export logistics, coordinating shipments by sea freight, air freight and road, while working closely with Production, Warehouse, customers and international freight partners.

What you'll be doing

  • Coordinating international imports and exports across the US, Australia, Europe and China.
  • Arranging sea freight, air cargo and road freight with freight forwarders and logistics providers.
  • Managing the end-to-end shipping process from order readiness through to final delivery.
  • Preparing and checking export documentation, including commercial invoices, packing lists and shipping documentation.
  • Liaising with freight forwarders, shipping agents, carriers, customs contacts and overseas customers.
  • Ensuring shipments are booked correctly and dispatched in line with customer requirements and agreed lead times.
  • Working with Production and Warehouse teams to coordinate collection dates, shipment readiness and despatch priorities.
  • Checking orders and shipping information for accuracy, including quantities, weights, dimensions, delivery addresses and documentation requirements.
  • Tracking shipments and proactively managing delays, exceptions and delivery issues.
  • Supporting the smooth flow of imports from China and Europe.
  • Identifying opportunities to improve processes, streamline shipping administration and manage freight costs and transit times.
  • Maintaining accurate shipping, booking and delivery records.


About you...

We're looking for a Doer - someone who takes ownership, communicates well and enjoys finding solutions.

You'll need:

  • You'll ideally have experience in international logistics, shipping, freight forwarding, import/export or supply chain, with experience of international shipments by sea and/or air
  • Experience working for a freight forwarder would be highly advantageous
  • Knowledge of export documentation and international shipping processes
  • Experience with commercial invoices, packing lists and export documentation
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills
  • Confidence communicating with freight forwarders, carriers and international contacts
  • The ability to manage multiple shipments and priorities simultaneously
  • Good IT skills and experience using ERP, WMS, TMS or shipping systems
  • A proactive, hands-on approach and the ability to work independently


A Counterbalance Forklift licence would be advantageous, or you'll need to be happy to learn. This is simply to support the wider team when required with moving and preparing orders for despatch.
