International Sales Manager | Hybrid | South Cambridge | Up to £110,000 (OTE)
I am currently recruiting for a well-established 40-person business in the defence space, with a lot of ambition and plans for growth.
We are looking for an International Sales Manager who can grow pipeline and sales in a specific defence vertical. You will be responsible for the full sales cycle and this role will be made up of 75% Business Development and 25% existing account management.

You will be responsible for:
  • Taking on existing sales opportunities and leads and converting them into orders 
  • Maintaining records of all activity using our CRM system 
  • Identify those prospects with the highest PWin factor and closing them 
  • Traveling extensively within the nominated region, visiting clients, and promoting our products through demonstrations 
  • Building business relationships with potential new customers 
  • Help to develop comprehensive programme capture plans 
  • Maintaining and communicating short and long-term business development plans 
  • Responding to client requests for proposals (RFPs) 
We are ideally looking for a candidate who has had experience doing business development within the Defence space. If you have or are able to acquire security clearance this would be a bonus (but not essential).

You’ll be working out of their South Cambridge office, on a hybrid basis (3 days onsite, 2 days WFH). This role will also include some occasional travel (about 1 week each month), visiting clients in the Middle East, India and Europe. The base salary on offer for this role is up to £70,000, (with an expected OTE of £110,000) plus bonus and other benefits.
