Our client, Merseyside Police are seeking a motivated and skilled IS Technical Analyst to join their team in Rosehill, Liverpool. This exciting temporary position offers an hourly rate of £14.41 and a part-time working pattern.
Role Overview:
The IS Technical Analyst will play a crucial role in supporting the organisation's IT infrastructure and services. This position involves working closely with experienced Technical Analysts to enhance the organisation's capabilities in virtual and cloud computing, including Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS), and Software as a Service (SaaS).
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the implementation and operation of information security controls to mitigate threats within solutions and services.
- Design, implement, and operate management strategies that ensure robust information security.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business problems into effective technical designs and solutions.
- Investigate technical issues in systems and processes, contributing to the implementation of remedies and preventative measures.
- Coordinate service delivery from design to operation, ensuring a cohesive framework for IT products and services.
- Build and test integrations between systems, working as part of a wider team.
- Execute test scripts and manage testing activities to ensure compliance with regulations.
- Document work meticulously using required standards, methods, and tools.
What Our Client is Looking For:
The ideal candidate will have:
- A qualification in Computer Science or a closely related field (HNC/HND or equivalent).
- A recent graduate potentially
- Familiarity with various IT infrastructure technologies, including computing, storage, and networking.
- Understanding of information security principles and the ability to apply modern standards approaches.
- Experience in troubleshooting and resolving technical problems, with a focus on service delivery.
- An ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
