Are you a commercially focused account manager with experience in construction, infrastructure, hire, utilities or industrial supply?
Our client is looking for an Infrastructure Key Account Manager to support the continued growth and delivery of a high-profile HS2 portfolio. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing business and play a central role in coordinating customers, suppliers, operational teams and internal commercial functions across major infrastructure projects.
The role
As Infrastructure Key Account Manager, you will act as the key interface between customer stakeholders, project teams, suppliers and internal departments. You’ll combine account management, project coordination and commercial awareness to deliver excellent service, maintain operational performance and identify opportunities for account growth.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing day-to-day delivery across allocated HS2 projects and key contractor accounts.
- Coordinating plant, equipment, consumables and service requirements across live project environments.
- Supporting project mobilisation, including forecasting, planning, reporting and supply chain coordination.
- Building strong relationships with site teams, procurement leads, plant teams and operational stakeholders.
- Conducting regular customer reviews and site visits.
- Identifying opportunities to improve service delivery and grow existing accounts.
- Working collaboratively with sales, operations, procurement and supply chain teams.
- Ensuring KPI, SLA and compliance targets are consistently achieved.
- Identifying operational inefficiencies and implementing improvements.
- Reporting on project performance, risks, opportunities and ongoing actions.
About you
You’ll be a proactive and solutions-focused professional who can operate effectively in a fast-paced infrastructure environment. You’ll be comfortable taking ownership of important customer accounts, solving problems quickly and building trusted relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
The successful candidate will have:
- Experience within construction, infrastructure, hire, utilities or industrial supply.
- A strong understanding of major project operations and customer expectations.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- The ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously.
- A commercially aware and proactive mindset.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- The confidence to work strategically and operationally across live project sites.
- A full UK driving licence.
Experience supporting projects within HS2, highways, rail, energy or civils would be highly desirable.
