A semi‑rural 1‑form‑entry Primary School, on the outskirts of Wells, are looking for an inspiring Key Stage 1 Class Teacher to join their dedicated team. This warm, community‑centered school is part of a large, supportive Multi Academy Trust committed to creating a happy, nurturing and enjoyable learning experience for every child.
About the Key Stage 1 Teacher role:
- Contract: Full time, with an additional opportunity for a 0.4 part‑time role
- Location: Wells, Somerset (semi‑rural, 1‑form‑entry school)
- Salary: £32,916 - £45,352 FTE
- Start: September or sooner by agreement

What you'll be doing as a Key Stage 1 Teacher:
- Creating a warm, inclusive and engaging Key Stage 1 classroom
- Delivering high‑quality, creative lessons that inspire curiosity and confidence
- Using effective behaviour strategies appropriate for early primary learners
- Working closely with colleagues across the Trust to share ideas and best practice
- Building strong relationships with pupils, families and the wider school community
What you'll need as a Key Stage 1 Teacher:
- Qualified Teacher Status (UK QTS or equivalent)
- Experience teaching KS1
- A passion for nurturing young learners and helping them thrive
- Strong communication and classroom‑management skills
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
