KS1 Teacher and SEN Teacher – South London

A small and nurturing independent pre-preparatory school in South London is seeking teachers for two upcoming opportunities.

KS1 Teacher – Immediate Start

The school is looking for a confident and enthusiastic KS1 Teacher who can begin immediately and support children across Reception, Year 1 and Year 2.

The successful teacher should have:

• Qualified Teacher Status or an appropriate teaching qualification

• Strong knowledge of the Early Years or KS1 curriculum

• Experience planning and delivering engaging lessons

• Effective classroom and behaviour-management skills

• A warm, nurturing and inclusive approach

• Strong communication with parents and colleagues

SEN Teacher – January 2027

The school is also interested in appointing an SEN Teacher from January 2027 to work with children aged five to seven.

The successful teacher should have:

• Experience supporting young children with special educational needs

• A strong understanding of adaptive teaching and individual support

• The ability to assess needs and plan appropriate interventions

• A patient, caring and child-centred approach

• Strong communication and collaborative-working skills

• Experience working with parents and external professionals
