Salary: £37,870–£56,154 per annum, dependent on experience
Contract: Full-time, long-term temporary
Start Date: 8 September 2026
Teach Now is recruiting a creative and confident KS1 Teacher for a Camden primary school from September.
The successful teacher will take on a class at an important stage in their development, helping children move from early learning towards greater academic and personal independence. This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who combines strong teaching fundamentals with imagination and warmth.
As the KS1 Teacher, you will:
- Deliver engaging lessons across the KS1 curriculum
- Teach systematic synthetic phonics and early reading
- Build confidence in writing and mathematics
- Use assessment to plan targeted next steps
- Provide appropriate support for pupils with SEND
- Establish calm and consistent classroom routines
- Work collaboratively with Teaching Assistants
- Maintain positive communication with parents and carers
You will need:
- Qualified Teacher Status
- Recent experience teaching within KS1
- Strong knowledge of phonics and early reading
- Secure curriculum and assessment knowledge
- Strong classroom-management skills
- Commitment to inclusion and safeguarding
