We are working in partnership with a friendly and ambitious primary school in Kettering that is seeking an enthusiastic KS2 Class Teacher to join their team from September 2026. This is an excellent opportunity for a committed educator who is passionate about helping pupils develop the knowledge, confidence, and independence they need to thrive academically and personally.
The school is ideally looking to appoint on a permanent basis, although long-term opportunities may also be considered for the right candidate.
Role Highlights:
- Take responsibility for a KS2 class, delivering engaging and well-structured lessons across the curriculum
- Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment where all pupils can succeed
- Plan, deliver, and assess high-quality learning in line with the KS2 curriculum
- Differentiate effectively to meet the needs of pupils with varying abilities and learning styles
- Monitor, assess, and track pupil progress, providing clear feedback to support achievement
- Promote positive behaviour, independence, resilience, and a growth mindset
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, and parents to support pupil outcomes
- Contribute to the wider life of the school, including events, activities, and enrichment opportunities
About You:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification
- Experience teaching within Key Stage 2 in a UK primary school setting
- Strong understanding of the KS2 curriculum and effective teaching practice
- A motivated, enthusiastic, and adaptable approach to teaching and learning
- Excellent communication, organisation, and classroom management skills
- A strong commitment to raising standards and ensuring every child reaches their potential
- ECTs are warmly encouraged to apply and will receive full support and mentoring
