About the Role
Teach Now is seeking an ambitious KS2 Teacher for a forward-thinking primary school in Brent.
The school has high expectations for academic progress while recognising the importance of creativity, confidence and wider personal development. You will take responsibility for a KS2 class and work within a collaborative phase team with access to experienced teaching assistants and shared curriculum resources.
This position would suit a teacher who enjoys challenging pupils academically while ensuring lessons remain engaging and inclusive.
- Plan and deliver high-quality KS2 lessons.
- Develop pupils’ writing, reading comprehension and mathematical reasoning.
- Use assessment to identify gaps and provide appropriate challenge.
- Prepare pupils for the increasing academic demands of upper KS2.
- Provide effective support for SEND and disadvantaged pupils.
- Establish high standards of behaviour and independence.
- Contribute to curriculum development and wider school activities.
- QTS.
- Successful experience teaching within KS2.
- Strong knowledge of the primary National Curriculum.
- Confident assessment and differentiation skills.
- Excellent behaviour management.
- High expectations for pupil achievement.
- Supportive phase leaders and senior leadership.
- Collaborative planning and strong teaching resources.
- Opportunities to develop subject leadership experience.
- A diverse and enthusiastic pupil community.

Salary will be based on qualifications and relevant experience.
