Zest Education is seeking a dedicated KS2 Teacher to join a welcoming primary school based in Northfield, starting in October. This is a full-time position giving you the opprtunity to build a long-lasting realtionship with a fantastic school.

This vibrant four-form entry primary school prides itself on its strong sense of community and collaboration. Each year group works closely to ensure consistency and support, while focusing on developing key skills for every child as they progress through the school.

As a KS2 Teacher, you’ll play an important role in motivating pupils and maintaining the school’s positive and inclusive ethos.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging, creative lessons across Key Stage 2.

  • Collaborate with other teachers to share ideas and best practices.

  • Create a supportive and stimulating classroom environment.

  • Manage student behaviour and ensure a safe, encouraging space for learning.

  • Communicate effectively with parents and guardians about student progress.

  • Attend relevant meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities.

Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.

  • Relevant experience working with children in an educational setting.

  • Strong subject knowledge of the National Curriculum.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • A valid Enhanced DBS or willingness to obtain one.

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
