£460 - £490 per week (salary is depending on experience and/or qualifications)

The School and Role

This Primary School in the Morpeth area (NE61) is currently recruiting a KS2 Teaching Assistant to work on a full-time basis from September 2026. The KS2 Teaching Assistant who is successful in securing this position will be working in a mixed KS2 class which has pupils from Yr3-Yr6. There are high levels of SEN pupils in the class, so some experience of supporting additional needs would be desired. The role is full-time, and will run for the full academic year. This is a small ‘Good’ school, where staff go above and beyond to ensure each child has the tools they need to achieve.

Requirements

The desired KS2 Teaching Assistant will have;

-          Experience of working with primary school aged children

-          Experience of working with pupils with SEND

-          A passion for the progress of primary school pupils

-          An ability to work as part of a team
