KS2 Teaching Assistant

Location: Greenwich
Start Date: ASAP
Contract: Long-term, Full-time
Pay: £95-£105 per day

Tradewind Recruitment are recruiting for a KS2 Teaching Assistant to join a primary school in Greenwich on a long-term basis, with an ASAP start.

If you're looking for a role where you can work consistently with the same pupils and build your experience within a school, this could be a great fit.

You'll be supporting the class teacher throughout the day, working with pupils individually and in small groups and providing additional help where required.

Your day will include:

• Supporting pupils across KS2

• Working with individuals and small groups

• Supporting reading, writing and maths

• Helping pupils who need additional support to access lessons

• Encouraging pupils to stay engaged with their learning

• Supporting classroom behaviour and routines

• Assisting the teacher with lessons and activities

You will ideally have:

• Previous experience working with children

• Primary school experience is desirable

• Experience working with KS2 pupils

• Good communication skills

• A calm and consistent approach

• The ability to work as part of a team

You don't necessarily need years of TA experience. If you have worked with children in another setting, are a graduate considering a career in teaching or have relevant transferable experience, we'd be happy to hear from you.
