Learning and Development Consultant - 3 months (initially) - 35 hours per week - Brighton

What the Learning and Development Consultant will will be doing:
The ideal Learning and Development Consultant will will be responsible for:

  • Design, develop, and/or deliver learning solutions (e.g. workshops, blended programmes, facilitated sessions).
  • Support or lead elements of talent development activity (e.g. leadership development, capability building, early careers, succession-related initiatives).

Programme Execution

  • Coordinate and deliver agreed learning or talent programmes, ensuring timely and high-quality execution.
  • Manage logistics, stakeholder inputs, and delivery plans across multiple initiatives.Stakeholder Engagement
  • Engage with key stakeholders (e.g. senior leaders, HR, managers) to clarify needs, shape solutions, and provide recommendations.
  • Build effective working relationships and manage expectations in a fast-paced environment.

Continuous Improvement & Insight

Provide practical recommendations to improve learning impact and delivery

  • Gather feedback and data to assess the effectiveness of interventions.

What the successful Learning and Development Cosultant will bring to the team
This role is suitable for someone who has

  • Have experience delivering learning and development and/or talent initiatives in a corporate environment
  • Show the ability to analyse learning needs and design and deliver effective interventions
  • Come from a background of working with and influencing senior stakeholders
  • Have honed the ability to quickly take ownership of programmes and deliver with minimal on boarding
  • Show strong communication, facilitation and stakeholder management skills
  • Have experience of working collaboratively with internal teams and stakeholders
  • Be able to take a practical, delivery-focused approach that prioritises outcome
