Laboratory Technician – Rugby / Coventry Area

Your main responsibilities will include:

• Sampling and analysing raw materials, process and product samples in line with QC schedules
• Providing accurate and timely analysis results to support production and quality control teams
• Assisting with equipment calibration and maintenance to ensure lab accuracy
• Maintaining housekeeping and inventory levels in the laboratory and storage areas
• Supporting the production and maintenance departments as part of the on-call rota

Skills & Experience:

• A Level Chemistry and GCSE Maths essential
• Previous experience in a chemical or cement laboratory environment
• Familiarity with analytical equipment such as XRF, XRD or Flame Photometry is desirable
• Strong understanding of Health & Safety standards and manual handling principles
