Job Title: Landscaping Project Manager
Location: Wendover, Buckinghamshire
Salary: £500-£550 per day, all-inclusive (flexible for the right candidate)

Role Highlights & Packages:

  • 18-month contract

  • HS2 project

  • Wendover-based compound

  • £500-£550 per day, with flexibility for the right person

  • Established contractor embedded on the project for 4+ years

  • Existing relationships, connections and project knowledge already in place

  • Opportunity to take the landscaping package through to completion

Role Overview:
We are currently looking for an experienced Landscaping Project Manager to join an established contractor working on HS2 in Wendover.

The fencing element of the contract is largely complete, with the remaining focus being on the landscaping works. The contractor has been embedded within the project for around four years and has strong existing relationships, knowledge and connections across the contract.

This is an opportunity for an experienced Landscaping PM to come in, take ownership of the remaining works and see the project through to completion. The project is well established, meaning the successful candidate will have a strong platform and support already in place.

Key Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Landscaping Project Manager

  • Strong understanding of landscaping contracts and project delivery

  • Experience managing subcontractors, suppliers and site teams

  • Strong commercial and contractual awareness

  • Able to manage programme, cost, quality and H&S

  • Confident dealing with clients and project stakeholders

  • HS2 or major infrastructure experience would be advantageous

  • Civils PMs will be considered, provided they have strong experience managing landscaping contracts

  • Ideally seeking a landscaping specialist rather than a purely civils-focused PM

Responsibilities:

  • Overall management and delivery of the remaining landscaping package

  • Managing subcontractors, suppliers and site teams

  • Monitoring programme, progress, costs and quality

  • Ensuring works are delivered safely and in line with project requirements

  • Managing client and stakeholder relationships

  • Resolving issues and ensuring the project remains on programme

  • Taking ownership of the landscaping contract through to completion
