Are you a recent graduate with a history of tutoring, mentoring or working with children and have a desire to find a full-time academic support for KS3 & KS4 students in Oldham?
Engage Education are working with multiple secondary school SEN departments in the Oldham area who are eager to secure fantastic Learning Mentors to provide outstanding 1:1 & small group SEN support to students with complex learning difficulties.

Learning Mentor – Role Information:
- Conducting academic support for KS3 & KS4 students with complex behavioural & SEN needs
- Tailoring support for students around combatting academic weak points
- Creating and sustaining meaningful rapport with students
- Communicating with colleagues and reporting to school SENCO
- Located in one Oldham secondary school for full academic year
Learning Mentor – Benefits:
- Paid £90 – £95 per day during term time
- Monday to Friday role from September 2026 to July 2027
- FREE online CPD courses across array of subjects
- Opportunity to work alongside experienced professionals
- Option to join school permanently pending course completion
Learning Mentor – What We’re Looking For:
- Minimum 2:2 UK based degree
- Experience supporting children in any capacity
- Naturally outgoing and engaging individual with interest in teaching
- Enhanced DBS on update service desirable but NOT mandatory
- Open to full-time work beginning September 2026
