Learning Support Assistant - Apprenticeships

Eden Brown are currently seeking an enthusiastic and committed Learning Support Assistant to join the Apprenticeships Department at a college in Greater Manchester on a full-time, temporary basis.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting learners and helping them achieve their educational and vocational goals.

The Role
As a Learning Support Assistant, you will work closely with teaching staff and apprentices to provide high-quality learning support. You will help learners access their programmes effectively, develop their confidence and independence, and overcome barriers to learning.

Your responsibilities will include:
* Providing one-to-one and small-group support to apprentices.
* Supporting learners with their classroom and vocational learning activities.
* Encouraging learners to develop independence, confidence and study skills.
* Working collaboratively with teaching staff and other support professionals.
* Helping to create an inclusive and positive learning environment.
* Monitoring learners progress and providing appropriate feedback.
* Supporting learners with additional needs and adapting support where required.

About You
We are looking for someone who is:
Experienced in providing learning or educational support.
Patient, approachable and empathetic.
Able to build positive relationships with young people and adults.
Confident working collaboratively with teaching and support teams.
Organised, reliable and able to work independently.
Passionate about helping learners achieve their potential.
Experience within a further education, apprenticeships or vocational learning environment would be advantageous.

A DBS On the update service is also needed for this role.
