Legal Administrator

We are recruiting for a Legal Administrator to join the Legal Services team of a Local Authority on a temporary basis.

This is a busy and varied role providing administrative support to legal professionals across a range of legal matters. You will be responsible for managing correspondence, coordinating meetings and court hearings, preparing legal documents and court bundles, maintaining accurate records on the case management system, and acting as a key point of contact for internal departments, solicitors, barristers and the courts.

About You

We're looking for an organised and proactive administrator with excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage a varied workload and meet deadlines. Previous experience in legal administration is desirable, although applicants with strong administration experience from a professional environment are also encouraged to apply.

You should have:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills
  • Good organisational and prioritisation abilities
  • A professional approach to handling confidential information
  • Experience using a case management system would be advantageous
