Lettings Negotiator

Talent-UK are recruiting on behalf of their client for a Lettings Negotiator to join a vibrant city centre office, with a fast turnover of tenancy renewals.

Hours -  08.45 to 17.45 Monday to Thursday, 08.45 to 17.15 Friday. 
Saturday two on/two off (10.00 to 14.00). 
Once two Saturdays have been worked then a day off in lieu to be taken in the following fortnight. 

Full clean driving licence for a manual car is essential.  

Experience preferred but we would also consider someone with the right qualities (strong communication skills, good at negotiating, ability to multi-task, sound at objection handling, enjoys administration tasks and considers attention to detail very important). 

Duties:
  • Register applicants and match applicants to properties.
  • Arrange and attend viewings.
  • Supervision of an effective applicant database, ensuring regular contact is made with all prospective tenants.
  • Liaise and negotiate offers between landlords and tenants.
  • Communicate with landlords with regards to marketing feedback, viewings and hot prospects, put forward offers from applicants and agree terms with landlords.
  • Generate new and repeat business opportunities
  • Canvassing / leafleting to seek new business opportunities including targeting competitors.
  • Assist with market appraisals as and when required, moving to full competency without assistance.
  • Signing up tenants and working through the process.
  • Ensure all tenancies commence in line with legislation and Martin & Co guidelines.
  • Ensure full and complete details are obtained from all applicants for successful referencing and Landlord satisfaction.
  • Process completed application forms.
  • Progress tenancy deposits and record receipt of all monies.
  • Promote Financial Services in line with our Franchise agreement.
  • Improve Tenant and Landlord Rent Guarantee insurance agreements with Homelet.
  • Efficient diary planning
  • Build and maintain excellent working relationships with landlords and tenants.
  • Demonstrate high standards of professionalism and provide a first-class level of customer service at all times.
  • Attend all meetings and training courses as required by your Line Manager.
