Academics are currently seeking a Level 2 Qualified Teaching Assistant to support a primary school in Elton, Cheshire.
We're looking for an enthusiastic and committed TA who can provide effective classroom support and help pupils get the most from their learning.
The role may involve:
- Supporting pupils across Early Years, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2
- Assisting teachers with delivery of the primary curriculum
- Supporting phonics, reading, writing and numeracy activities
- Working with individuals and small groups to reinforce learning
- Encouraging positive behaviour, confidence and independence
- Providing general classroom and learning support
- Following school safeguarding procedures and promoting pupil wellbeing
We're looking for someone who:
- Holds a Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent
- Has experience working with children in an educational setting
- Has an understanding of the primary curriculum
- Is confident supporting phonics and early reading
- Can work effectively with pupils across different age groups
- Is reliable, patient and enthusiastic
- Has a strong understanding of safeguarding
