Position: Level 3 CACHE Primary Teaching Assistant
Location: Retford, Nottinghamshire
Contract: Temporary, flexible ongoing supply
Pay: £92.56 - £95 per day (dependent on experience, training, qualifications and client rate available, paid via PAYE - no umbrella company fees, inclusive of holiday pay)
Start Date: ASAP or a date that suits you

About the Role

As a Level 3 CACHE Primary Teaching Assistant in Retford, you will work alongside class teachers to support pupils across EYFS, KS1 and KS2. You may provide whole-class support, work with small groups or offer additional help to individual pupils, helping to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Supporting teaching and learning across primary year groups
• Working with individuals and small groups to reinforce classroom learning
• Assisting with English, maths, phonics and other curriculum activities
• Encouraging positive behaviour and independent learning
• Supporting pupils with additional needs where required

Candidate Requirements

• A Level 3 CACHE Teaching Assistant qualification is essential
• Previous experience working within a primary school or similar setting
• A caring, patient and enthusiastic approach
• Confidence supporting pupils with different abilities and learning needs
• An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
