We are currently recruiting for a Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and supportive primary school in Chorlton-on-Medlock (M13) from October 2026. This is an excellent opportunity for a committed and enthusiastic individual who is passionate about supporting children's learning and development.
The RoleAs a Level 3 Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with class teachers to support pupils across the classroom, deliver targeted interventions, and provide additional support to children with varying learning needs. The successful candidate will play a key role in creating a positive and engaging learning environment where every child can thrive.
Key Responsibilities- Support teaching and learning within the classroom.
- Deliver one-to-one and small group interventions.
- Assist pupils with additional learning, behavioural, or SEND needs.
- Encourage pupil engagement, confidence, and independence.
- Help create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment.
- Work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and wider school staff to support pupil progress.
- Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent).
- Previous experience working within a primary school setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- A patient, caring, and proactive approach.
- Knowledge of safeguarding procedures and a commitment to child welfare.
- Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff.
