Lift Technician

Location: London Gatwick Airport
Salary: Up to £67,000 per annum
Shift Pattern: 4 on / 4 off | 6am–6pm | 12-hour shifts

Marmon Lift Recruitment is seeking an experienced Lift Technician to join an established engineering team at London Gatwick Airport. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced lift professional seeking a static site position, responsible for servicing, maintaining, and repairing passenger lifts in a busy 24/7 airport environment.

The Role

• Service and maintain passenger lifts and associated equipment.

• Carry out technical assessments and advanced fault-finding.

• Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults and undertake repairs.

• Repair or replace lift components as required.

• Provide technical support to engineers across the region.

• Assist with complex breakdowns and technical issues.

• Complete maintenance records and technical documentation.

• Ensure equipment remains safe, reliable and compliant.

• Maintain high standards of health and safety.

The Ideal Candidate

• NVQ Level 4 in Lift Engineering or equivalent qualification.

• Previous experience as a Lift Service Engineer, Lift Repair Engineer or Lift Technician.

• Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills.

• Experience maintaining and repairing passenger lifts.

• Full UK driving licence.

• Excellent communication and customer-care skills.

• Organised, self-motivated and capable of working independently.

• Confident providing technical support and working within a team.

• Strong understanding of health and safety regulations.

• Positive attitude with a commitment to personal development.
