Litigator – Property & Private Client

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Litigation Solicitor to join a well-established legal practice based in Wanstead.

The successful candidate will handle a varied caseload covering property and private client disputes, acting for both individuals and businesses.

The Role

You will deal with a broad range of contentious matters, including:

• Property disputes, including ownership, boundary and right of way disputes
• Landlord and Tenant disputes across residential and commercial matters
• Possession, eviction and lease renewal proceedings
• Probate disputes
• Inheritance claims
• Will validity claims
• Debt recovery and repayment matters
• Building disputes
• General litigation and other contentious matters

You will manage your own caseload, provide high-quality legal advice and maintain strong client relationships throughout each matter.

About You

The ideal candidate will:

• Be a qualified Litigation Solicitor with at least 1 year PQE
• Have experience in property and/or private client litigation
• Be confident managing a caseload with appropriate levels of autonomy
• Have excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Demonstrate strong attention to detail
• Have excellent organisational and administrative skills
• Be comfortable working towards departmental billing targets
• Have a professional and client-focused approach
